    67 Dart (Frame Rails/Inner Fenders/Radiator Support) Replacement

A few months ago my dad was in a car accident in our 67 Dart. Luckily he's okay and nothing serious happened to him, but the car took some pretty hefty damage. I've posted the story here before and explained how we basically considered letting the car go. The damage just seemed too extensive and...

67-73 Abody frame Rail and Rad Support

Thanks for all the info and motivation. I think we're going to pull the trigger on that 4-door and use it as a donor. Huge kudos Dana67Dart for sending it my way! Getting our hands on it will save us a ton of cash over hunting for the parts by themselves. We'll see how the conversation with the...

67-73 Abody frame Rail and Rad Support

Despite being a 4 door, I assume the fenders and inner fender aprons on this guy work on my 67? We would just need to fill in the side marker lights and fender turn signals?

67-73 Abody frame Rail and Rad Support

Awesome, thanks guys all super valuable info. We spoke to one local frame shop and the gentleman came over to check it out. His recommendation is to cut the old passenger frame rail, from where it's bent, and weld a donor. Same for the Radiator support area and passenger fender apron. Cut and...

67-73 Abody frame Rail and Rad Support

haha yeah, it's hard to just let it go. We keep switching between walking away and fixing it. My dad and I happen to be at a pick n pull and I saw the duster there, if its a match, that would save us a ton.

67-73 Abody frame Rail and Rad Support

I have a 67 Dart that was recently in an accident and the front end was pretty much totaled. Along with needing new fenders and a hood, I need to replace the entire Radiator support and inner fender on the passenger side. I might be able to straighten the passenger frame rail but replacing it...

[FOR SALE] 1967 Dodge Dart GT

Unfortunately yes, the passenger's side took the impact so that Frame Rail is especially bent. The Drivers side has a slight bend but can be straightened with little fuss. The Passenger side will probably need more attention.

[FOR SALE] 1967 Dodge Dart GT

Up for sale is my dad's 1967 Dart GT. It is a SoCal car that was his weekend cruiser up until recently when he was in an accident and the front end was totaled. We gave it a go in trying to fix it, but right now, financially it's not in the cards. We have to let it go. I'm hopeful someone sees...

    Dart Interior Differences 67-69

Yup, LA born and lived here its whole life. We're definitley going to give it a go and try and save it, but money, unfortunately, is a factor. I have these post accident pics now that show the car as it was towed to my dad's place. I stopped by earlier today and saw he's already removed the...

    Dart Interior Differences 67-69

Thanks for all the info so far! I think suing the guy would cost us more and take a lifetime before we ever saw a dime. The option is still on the table but it seems like a long shot. At the moment, we're going down every avenue and seeing what's the best thing we can do moving forward. If we...

    Dart Interior Differences 67-69

Recently my dad was in a wreck in his 67 dart but thank god he's okay and walked away pretty much unscathed. The car wasn't so lucky, the front end was totaled. Both fenders and aprons, grill, bumper, radiator support area, and the hood are toast. The frame also took a licking and probably needs...

Is this Driveshaft okay to use?

Sounds like a plan. Thanks everyone!

Is this Driveshaft okay to use?

Yeah, I think they are vise jaw marks. They're on both ends too. At least they used the ends and not the tube itself. I checked it out and it looks good, no dents or other damage that I can see. It's just the ends that are beat up.

Is this Driveshaft okay to use?

I came up on a used aluminum drive shaft that was in a Dart and I'm thinking of using it in my Dart project. The owner said he had the driveshaft out and rebalanced but ended up selling the project car before putting it back in. The actual tube looks to be in good shape, no dents or visible...

Is this an odd '67 Dart Voltage regulator?

For the last week I've been trying to track down a parasitic draw in my dart that would cause a dead battery overnight. After doing some detective work, I finally tracked the issue to the green ignition wire coming from the Alternator and going to the Voltage Regulator. I'm 90 percent sure the...

New member, first post regarding instrument cluster

hi all, I'm new to the forum but not to mopars, My dad and I have been restoring a 67 dart gt for the last 10 years... slowly but surely. Recently the gas and temp gauge quit working and after looking on this and other mopar forums, we went through the test steps recommended and came to the...
