morning a rainy windy 50’s day type day here this morning. I have VA labs this morning then the eye doctor followed by a physical. After that going by audiology to sync my new phone to my hearing aids. I also have to go by the dental clinic think I lost a filing or broke a tooth. A full morning!!

Morning all. Wild start here yesterday, we had two 6am EF-1 tornadoes on the ground within a few miles of us.l One was on the ground for 9.8 miles. Mostly a rural area some property damage and a couple injuries. Nothing here but a lot of rain and wind.

Went out this morning and spent four hours in the meadow picking up sticks and cutting up large limbs for the burn pile. It took about four hours but it's clear and I can mow tomorrow.

We did watched the re-runs last night. Taking tomorrow off and invited a couple friends over to watch the final day with a toddy or two always an exciting time. I gotta go some year it's like a golfers Meca. We put in for tickets last year but didn't get selected. We'll try again.

Off again later this morning for another veteran's tournament. This one is about 30 miles north of town at the Indian casino. A really nice course just hoping the pace of play is a little quicker yesterday's five hours. It was way too slow for us.

Speaking of hamburgers, we stopped last night on the way back home and a cheeseburger and curly-q dries at a Mom and Pop place, that has been in business for over 50 years. It was great and hit the spot after a long and very windy day of golf.

Scott sounds like the car is finally done soon. I put some money into both my cars up front when we got them and then enjoyed them for several years...no regrets!! You'll have a lot of fun taking it to shows and as Cheryl and I told people "To enjoy talking and sharing your car with car people".

Checking in wife is at a lawyer's monthly dinner get together. She paid for a year last summer and this is the first meeting she's made. I'm on my own at least for a few hours so can't get in too much trouble. I had leftovers (KC Strips) and a Fargo John Tito's and G2 Grape Zero...life is good!!

They did make good firewood. I hated the thorns it seemed they never desegrated. I raked them up in a pile and burned them.
