[FOR SALE] KB190 360 standard pistons

As you know, these aren't mine but, maybe this will help the seller... Being that they have a slight dome/pop-up (0.080"), they will extend above deck. Looking at KB web page, the compression should be in the 10.5-11 area, depending on the actual cc of your J heads. KB Automotive Hyper -...

    66 Dart speedometer lens paint

The plastic lens/speedo cover that I'm putting back in my '66 Dart needs the numbers touched up in a few places. Anyone happen to know what paint type the factory used, acrylic or enamel? And also, is there an off the self paint that is a decent color match...such as Testers, HiPoParts...

    Over heating 66 Dart

I'd be curious to know more about your timing as it can play a major roll in overheating. You mentioned before that you set it at 40 degrees total. Under a load it should be pinging like crazy. That just doesn't sound right...unless you have the vacuum advance hooked up. Disconnect the...

    What Camshaft

I wasn't worried about a stall in the truck, since it's got an NP435 4-speed and 3.55 gears. At the time, I was mainly looking for something off the shelf and was under 0.500 lift to work with the heads that were on the engine so I could get it installed ASAP. I snagged the assembled short...

    What Camshaft

If you are looking for something that is more "off the shelf" (read: cheaper), then you might want to look at one of the Howard's Rattler series. You can find them for just under $300 on Ebay right now. Those are ground on 109 lsa (close to the 110 you are looking at). Here's a link to where...

    [Found!] 66 Dart speedo/gauge bezel

Looking for the front plastic cover/bezel that goes over the speedo for a 1966 Dart...but, would be interested in the entire gauge cluster if that's how you'd rather sell. Please let me know what you have, where it's at, and how much. Thanks, Phillip

    [WANTED] 1966 Dart dash pad

Still looking for a 1966 Dart dash pad. Red is preferred but, any color is better than nothing. This would be the straight dash pad, without the slight recessed area in the middle. Thanks!

[WANTED] Dash pad for 1966 Dart

Prefer a red one with few to no cracks but, beggers can't be choosey so, please let me know what you have and price. Unfortunately one from a 63-65 Dart or Valiant will not work, they have a "dip" in the middle of the pad. The '66 Dart pads are straight all the way across. Thanks in advance!

[Found!] 1966 Dart headlight bezels...good, bad, or ugly.

Ideally, I'd like to find a set of perfect headlight bezels but, let's face it, they just about all have some dents, dings. and scratches. To give you an idea...my right front bezel is beyond ugly. Mangled, dented, crushed, and ground/cut into with an angle grinder (came with the car this...

    Needing hood dimensions

Just an FYI, ended up finding and buying a used 5x8 trailer off craigslist, on my way down yesterday. Worked like a charm and now I have a trailer that I can fit a mower on now.

    Needing hood dimensions

Thanks for the offer but, I needed a 66 hood. After a couple weeks searching, I finally found one and drove 4.5hrs to get it yesterday. Now to haul it to my buddy's shop where the car is getting painted. Thanks again though for the offer!

    Needing hood dimensions

Thanks a million None2Slow! I can't imagine there's much of a difference between a 63 Valiant and a 66 Dart. That at least gives me a good ballpark idea and I can measure the hatch on the HHR tomorrow. 28mpg would sure be better than 12mpg on a 8-9hr round trip! Thanks again for the quick...

    Needing hood dimensions

Can someone please measure the length and width off an early-A hood. Have a long drive to go get one and would rather take an HHR vs. gas thisty truck. Need to see If it'll fit. Thanks.

    Mopar 318 5.2l rebuild/upgrade

You say you have a 5.2L and "I want a torque monster what will last, not a screaming high rpm racer." Well, your best (only?) option then is installing a Scat 4.00" cast crank in it (~$370-400). I'd avoid the Eagle cast crank due to reported breakage issues. The 4" crank and boring it +0.030"...

    New pistons in 68 318

Short answer...yes, you should get it balanced. Long answer...the pistons are not the only difference. The wrist pins for KB pistons will be around 132g and factory was around 154g. So, now you are looking at 66g (piston difference) + 22g (pin difference), for a total of 88g...or 0.194 lbs...

I know ! Another cam selection post

Depends on a few other things too. How lopey or smooth do you want the idle? What are you wanting as far as the type of cam...a solid, hydraulic, or roller (hydraulic or solid)? Also, do you have power brakes?

    A healthy 318 is born.

Well...it's a bit of a rare oddity and not a true Unilite distributor. Instead, the distributor uses a hall effect sensor. The part you probably questioning is the box temporarily mounted to the bellhousing and is a Mallory 637 control module. In short, it was an EARLY way to electronically...
