I built a 318 stroker because I had a good 318 block. If starting from scratch 360 blocks are out there and an extra 18 cubic inches once stroked wont hurt and bigger bore 4.030 vs 3.94 also helps. if your putting money into the motor spend thr extra few hundred for a 360 vs 318…..

Swapped the rear in my 70 duster to a Dana 60. Can get a 4” diameter driveshaft in the right length for cheap. can I run this without clearance issues? Anything else to consider by using a 4‘’ diameter deiveshaft?

Yes pan has been on the engine and in my 70 duster for 2 years now. My Doug’s headers had no clearance issues. Pan hasn’t leaked a drop. After notching the lip on the stock k frame and cutting that corner of the pan down clearance is fine. I’m happy with it so far.

Hi my 70 duster never came with a rear seat. I’m going to a Mopar swap meet soon, but not sure what years, models interchange. I’m pretty sure 70-72 duster, 71-72 demon will work. How about 2 door valiant 70-72? I believe dart rear seats will not work and 4 door valiant seats won’t work...

Well I put 3 or 4 bundles of shingles and 160 lbs of steel plates into the trunk. So I’d say that’s gotta be 300 or 350 lbs of weight. Car is still a bit higher then when I started. The front eye bolt is loose and the rear hanger moves freely, and I loosed the ubolts, so nothing is bound up...

They are Mopar performance made in Mexico springs. Sounds like they’re gonna settle a lot, which is good. I’ll,loosen everything up just to be sure and bounce it around and see if that makes any difference. I’ll report back tomorrow
