K guys..since Schumacher is out, what are you guys now using for mounts on a spool type kmember? The TTI ones are way to expensive to get up here in Canada, think I was quoted close to $600.

So what do you guys use to fill in the valley between the quarter and the outer rocker?

Ya Im gonna use the proper size wire. Body guy definety used .035.

I already own the quarter skin..lol. Road trip would be nice though.

Plus I bought all good panels for the job.

Guy is no longer working on the car...thank god. Still waves in the panel and he rounded off the midway body line at the door jam almost flat. Guess i have to replace the whole panel again.

But with the half off sale on quarter skins at AMD I couldn't pass those savings up.

J par. I was also thinking of full quarters. I wanted to keep as much original metal as possible. Driver side was worst than the passenger side.

Ya used .035 wire..just measured a piece that was on the garage floor.

I didn't see any vehicles in person but his picture portfolio was pretty good, but who knows what was underneath. He is finishing the job I payed for that's why he is still working on it, but won't be doing the other side of the car.

I expected alittle ripples but he definety rushed his tack welds. Hopefully he can hammer the welds to relax the metal back to minimize the Bondo, but we will see. Just sucks cause I bought the panels on sale before they discontinued them.

Nope he used a mig with gas.
