    [SOLD] 318 with new parts

I apologize in advance for the picture quality. The engine is buried in a corner of my garage. I have a 318 that came out of my 72 dart. I was going to reuse it but decided to go with a big block. These new parts are brand new and have only been bolted on never started the engine with them on...

[FOR SALE] SBP Kelsey Hayes setup

These parts have been blasted (except the rotors). The calipers kept flash rusting so they are coated in rust preventer. It will wash off in kerosene or brake cleaner. The calipers will need rebuilt. Had to use a grease gun to get the pistons out and they were in terrible shape. There is only...

    New air compressor

You are correct about the hub caps. They came off the 72 thats on the rotisserie in my profile picture. I use 1/2" air line. I know it'll be choked down some by all sorts of things, i just don't want to add to that and make it to where the compressor is running non stop again when I'm using a...

    New air compressor

I thought about this. I have an extra 60 gallon tank, however the output size is only 3/8". I would like to stay with 1/2" everywhere. The dewalt is 3/4" outlet. Honestly 3/8" would probably be just fine for what I need but just personal preference.

    New air compressor

I bought a new compressor the other day as my little 30 gallon single stage wasn't keeping up with the tasks I was asking from it. I bought an 80 gallon, 2 stage, 5hp Dewalt compressor. Flow is 17 CFM at 175psi. I dont have any tools that run that high of pressure, but the CFM is definitely...

    Top Banana

I was going to do that but didn't want to seem like a crazy ex girlfriend. Didn't know if anyone here knew them well enough to maybe shoot a text. It doesnt seem like they post much. Hopefully it works out

    My Dart Swinger Project!

You'll need a dial indicator with a magnetic base. The base is 12.99 at harbor freight. It doesn't look like the dial indicator come with it. Its 16.99. Any kind of jig that you can clamp on or stick on to keep the indicator from moving will work. Multi-Position Magnetic Base with Fine...

    My Dart Swinger Project!

Backlash is going to be set by your shims. On either side of the carrier bearings. I'm not sure what the spec is but that will set your backlash.

    Inboard spring kit.

I completely agree with you there. Thanks for showing me how not to do it.

    Inboard spring kit.

What the ef is that? I made some repairs before that I kinda shook.my head at but knew they wouldn't be dangerous or fail. This is just not caring.

You're the man Dartfreak. Thank you for the clarification.

    Inboard spring kit.

I've done as much searching as a could and couldnt find my answer. The spring relocation kit pictured came with the car when I bought it. I've seen somewhere but canr find it anymore that the rear shackle tube goes into the hole already through the frame that I pictured below. However the...

    My Dart Swinger Project!

I just read through this whole post, and am now embarrassed that I made thread on how hard it was to rotate my car on the rotisserie, because I'm an idiot and cant tell up from down. I get mad at myself because I cant put down a professional looking bad with my Lincoln mig welder. I whined...

    67 valiant redo

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I like your style and seriously, every aspect you have going on with your ride, and that tube was out of place. I did use the wrinkle finish on a Honda valve cover once. I stripped the original paint with aircraft remover stuff. I did not use primer because I...

Nice build. Definitely motivational. The wrinkle finish VHT paint does wonders on intake piping, btw. Once cured you can paint whatever color you want on top of it.

    Rotisserie balancing

Doors are still on my car. Just keeping them closed. I checked the gaps before putting it on the lift and after and there was no change. Not too worried about the doors.

    Rotisserie balancing

Thanks for the input folks. Lowering the car in relation to the rotating joint made a huge difference. Wish I had one of those hand cranks. I dont know why i thought i should raise it more.

    Rotisserie balancing

I can lower it with this fancy contraption. I'll try lowering it and see how that works. My fat *** has been struggling. I was thinking it needed to go higher which would require different brackets. Ill report back with my findings. Thanks again.

    Rotisserie balancing

I'm hoping someone can help me here. I have the car on the rotisserie. The complete drivetrain is removed, the fuel tank is removed, and the left front suspension is removed. The right side is coming off. Ones I start tilting this thing it either tries to run away or takes my full 250lbs to get...

67 Cuda Notchback Hell Cat Swap

I was able to use a heat gun and putty knife to get the majority of the undercoating off. I just have the residue to deal with now. I used some kerosene and some VM&P naptha and both seem to remove the residue pretty well. I really didnt want to go with the wire brush due to the dust and no one...

    Quick spot weld question

Definitely. The rotisserie has been life changing. Things are going much quicker now. I'm too fat to be getting up and down on a creeper.

    Quick spot weld question

Yes, subframe connectors are going in. You can see one of them in the picture. Thanks for your input.
