Found my dads original 1971 duster!

WOW! Damn nice to find it still complete after so many years, great story and really glad you were able to get it back, helps to live in a small town where everybody knows you. Looking forward to seeing more pics.

Nice car, but I absolutely HATE those garbage air cleaners, nothing but a fire waiting to happen, speaking from experience.

I used to have an account with NAPA on Panet rd, and they could sometimes get things like that. Super Shops on Portage was a TTi dealer too.

    Softy's Speed shop still around?

I found them in a local speed shop here in town. The amount of dust on the package made me think they were on the shelf for a few years, seemed like that shop was primarily Chevy focused. Unfortunately I don't know what shops are still around in Winnipeg anymore.

I used the ones that came with my TTi headers both times and they were excellent. I had to take one off and replaced it with a Remflex, great piece, and I would recommend them.

Sunny and 70* yesterday, and today we are enjoying 34* with snow flurries and the occasional whiteout. Fantastic!

Found my dads original 1971 duster!

Welcome from Alberta. Pretty cool to find your dad's old Duster, post some pics of the car as found as well as the story behind it.

How to achieve this stance please?

I had 245/60R14 on a 1970 Dart with no clearance issues. I also had a pair of 235/60R15 drag radials on a set of custom made steelies, no clearance issues either.

Here we have deer running around town, rare not to see at least a few every day. Coyotes too, but not as common.

Forecast is for 70s here for the next few days, and then 30s again with more snow possible midweek. :BangHead: No point in washing anything around here.

1969 Race Dart w/ 426 Hemi- garaged for 45+ years

Yeah, the currency exchange is an absolute killer here, whether on parts, or new vehicle purchases, it's just insane. It ain't hard to drop $100k on a new 1/2 ton truck, don't matter what brand. I honestly don't know how people who are just starting out can manage, but I still see big houses...

    Pittsburgh hit again. More rain.

Out here we're desperate for rain, there's been talk of water rationing and drought conditions.
