I need to know how tall are your rear tires. If they are 14s maybe . It is easier to run skinny tall tires and then change out to what you have on there know. Your weekest link is headers. Hooker 1 3/4 are the cheapest ,then TTIs , then Hedmans. The biggest change in my stroker was going to bigger tubes period. I dropped 2 tenths. You have to remember these things think they are big blocks and I would guess 1 5/8 headers might flow less thn bigblock...

Good Transmissions aren't cheap and Cheap tranmissions aren't good. Tci has good stock stuff. Consider the Mickey D hamberger. It might do in a pinch but I can afford a Ribeye. Chefs dont cook quarter pounders you get my drift?

I have been seeing a trend of rear engine dragsters going back to torqueflites. Seems cool to me. I run a 727 behind my 2700 lb 410 but I hope to have a cope 904 with a Dynamic converter by next spring. We are headed for the 10s at 3500 feet. All this with an old thermoquad!

Strokers like A LOT of cam. Consider what you would put in a big block for that torque range. That 410 has a quarter inch more stroke than a 440. Most people forget to look at that when they build them.

If you don't have enough compression you can lose 2-3 tenths easy. Don't listen to me , I've only been doin this 40 years

We run between 20 and 25. Nuttin fancy no screws no funnycar burnouts. Pulls the wheels and is street driven almost every weekend. BFG 325-50-15 Hope that helps

Ladder bars are obsolete and the floaters are heavy. With your car sittng on level ground measure the rocker panel in front of the rear tires and the measure it behind the front tires . The front needs to be a little higher or at least level with the back and your ss springs will do their job...

Boy this is a tough one . The 360 loves and needs compression more than it needs stroke . I would have to lean towards eddy heads to raise compression. Save up for a stroker latter.

Fill is more commonly used in blower motors. I have a good friend with two blower cars and he says it is manditory. I keep trying to get him to run a mopar in one of his diggers if he wants to go fast and watch everyone else work on their cars.

You can get very resonable priced axles on ebay for the abody housing . It just isn't worth drilling the old axles anymore.

500 Inches should not be a problem. I prefer the 75 and older blocks as they are a little stronger. Happy Horsepower

I ran a 410 last season with a sleeve. It went 8000once but not on purpose. All semi truck engines have sleeves and most get 1,000,000 miles between overhauls. Sounds like an accident happened and your machinist is doing his best to fix it .Give him a chance
