I have a 1965 barracuda with a 273 ci 180 hp LA904 . I’m thinking to swap it out the 273 with a 340 “ if I can find one”. My question is will LA 904 bolt up to the 340 block.

I converted the front brakes to disc. I replace the upper control arm new bushings and new ball joint and new lower control arm /ball joint. I ready to adjust the alignment to be able to drive to a shop for proper alignment. How do I adjust the caster? ?

Thanks all I did find the stamping on the casing A 904 LA. The only thing difference is where the transfer point of the kick down linkage is mounted. The one in the car now is mounted on the chassis . The tranny I just acquired mounts the Side of the bell housing. Thanks again everyone.
