Got offered a free engine from a 75 dodge d200 custom by a buddy of mine looking to clear some space. It's got a 360 but I have no idea what kind of tranny is in it. It's got a clutch but also has a column shifter? Real oddball. Hoping for tips and insight. Looking to squeeze it into a 70 valiant.

Where can I buy a seat cover for a 70 non split bench? It's a 70 valiant 4 door. Just want the car to look better while I get some brackets fabricated for the new buckets I'm putting in.

Odd question should I have the box hooked to the pump and running while figuring center? I didn't know if pump pressure makes a difference while doing this. Box still has the plastic plugs in it I haven't hooked the new hoses up to it yet.

Installed the powersteering quick ratio box afew months ago and had to put down the project because life got in the way. Lost the instructions and now I'm re-installing the steering column. How do I find center on this box? I haven't put the pitman arm back in yet its just bolted to the k frame.

Hell you don't need to be older for it to hurt, I'm in my 20s and I hate doing it so much I pulled the bench.

Dirt and grime creating a rough spot in threads and slightly stretched bolt, chased the threads on both the hole and bolt. Size of bolt is approx. 1/2" T13. Used threadlocker on bolts.

Got the bolts issue fixed. Now I gotta figure out how to center the box because I lost the instructions like the big dummy I am.

Doesn't look like I have a tap that large, happen to know the size of the bolt?

Installing the powersteering box in a 70 valiant and ran into abit of a hiccup. I'm having a hard time getting the bolt closest to the shock to go in properly, it only threads down about half way then it gets stuck I inspected the threads on the bolt and they look good, threads in the kframe...

How long did it sit? Your fuel might be bad. Had the same issue a while back, dumped the tank. filled with fresh gas, got it to stop smoking. Also sounds like it's running rich

I stumbled on this thread looking for info on LED light retrofits but found a bad *** tail light fix. I dig those way more than the original, looks sleeker and even more period correct if that's even possible.
