I feel your pain with regards to temps. Had to order plastik honey to hopefully be able to get filler spread. I asked SPI about temps for epoxy and was told it loves heat. I have sprayed several times at 110 or more. So I hope so….

I recently acquired another 66 Dart GT with auto center console. The front buckets are missing. This includes the mounts/tracks. I suspect these parts are not unique to just the 66 Dart. What other years and model of Mopar would be the same? Thanks

I too was worried of flash rusting as I took the whole car down. I did it in sections. Blast and epoxy primer. Next section I would overlap a couple inches into what I had primed, then spray epoxy on the next section. Not a pro so take it for what it is worth. That and my unpredictable weather...

What product(s) to use for seam sealing around doors and deck lids where the skin wraps around to the core and for where the quarter meets the rockers? And the rain gutters. Thanks

Just got home with it. Well it’s still in my neighbor’s race car trailer. It was a task to get out and put my air holding set of wheels on it to make it roll. Few more shots after getting it out of its “hole”.

Have not decoded the fender the fender tag but it has power steering and did have AC at some point. Going to get it in a few hours.

Picking this up tomorrow. Not sure where I plan on going with it since mine is still on rotisserie. The die cast chrome pieces are better than mine. Slant six GT. Original seats are all gone. Better assessment once it is home and decide future project or part it out

Seam sealing with 3m 8368 inside and out. Now when it comes to panel skin over the core (doors, trunk etc), where the quarter meets the rocker behind the door and the rain gutters…what product should I be using? Thanks

Just pay USPS flat rate shipping, so kind of FREE These are agreeably rough. Came with the grill I got from NM from a 270 model. Have a soft blasted look. Maybe from our southwest dust storms. But if you want to try your hand at hammering them out….

One is okay the other fell out in pieces. Laysons said they didn’t have them. Not sure of official part name and would think it was used on multiple years and modes. This plastic bearing goes on both ends of the hollow shaft that the pedal pivots on when attached to the interior firewall part...

Got a grill! A few small things to correct but it sure beats the one I had. The bezels are rough shape but mine are pretty good. Altered my brake pedal for new Mopar cover. Made the curved plate for the gas pedal too but haven’t finished how I will mount to the “stem”.

I would like to get more done but it was 119 yesterday and more of the same for awhile…
