    Alum water pump housing question

    Guys, I have an aluminum water pump housing on my 440 build. I am installing the thermostat. The old cast iron housing had a “ groove “ for the thermostat, the aluminum housing does not. Naturally the thermostat housing will not fit correctly. What are you guys doing ? Thanks :poke:
