Guys, I have an aluminum water pump housing on my 440 build. I am installing the thermostat. The old cast iron housing had a “ groove “ for the thermostat, the aluminum housing does not. Naturally the thermostat housing will not fit correctly. What are you guys doing ? Thanks :poke:

I am running an alum water pump and aluminum housing . Pro street damper . I have 2small block crank pulleys that will bolt on the 440. I am looking for a shallow (2") water pump pulley with a small diameter. Or a set of crank, wp pulleys that will underdrive ( spin faster) the water pump...

ok. So the project is slowly moving forward. I am getting the rear finished with the new 355 gear set and moser axles. When I bought the 69 dart it was in pieces. No brake lines among other things. ( like an engine , trans , ....) Does anybody have a diagram of where the brake should run ...

I would like to hear what experiences someone has had with the TTI SHORTY headers in a 440 dart. Would there be less interference with everything due to one 3" pipe vs 4 1.3/4" pipes going by the starter, t bars,....... I know there will be a small sacrifice in performance over long tubes ...
