    Brake Bleeding

Not 100% sure, but I thought it had something to do with the ABS module location.

    "Warning" Don't Bench Bleed Me

    Brake Bleeding

FWIW Honda and Acura bleed procedure is LF, RF, RR, LR. I follow the service manual (old way) for my Dodge and pressure bleed. Works every time and is a one man job.

    AFTER MARKET JUNK!!!!

I needed 3 wheel cylinders to get one that didn’t leak from China. For bleeding, provided the master is bled, the safety switch is functioning and the rear line from frame to rear axle is internally ok, have used the Motive power bleeder. The FSM recommends pressurizing the hydraulic system. Was...

FWIW The GM stuff has a 9/16-18 front port while Mopar is 9/16-20. Both use 1/2-20 rear ports threads.

Dr. Diff 11.5" front brakes showed up tonight

I’m not using my 14” Road Wheels aka Magnum 500, but before I installed the slider disc brakes I dropped the assembly into the 14” wheels with the 11” rotors. They fit. You’re right that the 11.75” rotors won’t fit, but the 11” rotors will.

Dr. Diff 11.5" front brakes showed up tonight

I think you mean 11.75” rotors. I have 11.75” rotors that fit in American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels, Wheel Vintiques 63 Series and my current wheels Wheel Vintiques 69 Series police wheels. All 15x7 wheels.

    Blinkers and Hazzards

I used a neutral polarity turn signal flasher. Didn’t need to flip the wiring. Direct plug-in. My OEM hazard flasher still worked, but at a slower rate and I left it alone.

LED TAIL / PARK LIGHT BULBS

I use LEDs for every bulb that comes on with headlight switch except the headlights. They’re still OEM type. My stock hazard flasher still works just flashes slower, left it along. Used an electronic flasher with a ground wire for turn signals. Works good, even provides a clicking sound...

Dr. DIFF cobra brake/ master cylinder question

Good points. Thanks. This is what I was referring to about the process. Several ways available to bench bleed. This is just the one that I’m most comfortable with and have been 100% successful.

Dr. DIFF cobra brake/ master cylinder question

Give it a try one time. Air escapes through the holes in the bottom of the master. If you look inside during the process, the air bubbles are visible as they escape into the master. The system is closed when plugged and once all the air vents through the holes the system locks. The re-builders...

Dr. DIFF cobra brake/ master cylinder question

You can quickly bench bleed on the car, if necessary, by plugging the two ports on MC and hand pushing the brake pedal. When you can barely move the pedal, the MC is hydraulically locked and virtually 100% sure there’s no air in the MC. Then remove the plugs one at a time and reattach the brake...
