    Body plug kit $45 new carpeting was $180 welded the floor pan cracks. Have to buff it out and clean. Once done primer, undercoat and sound deadening pad throughout. Then carpet. Installed a new master for her as well

    Thanks brother. But I'm keeping numbers matching. The compression is good. I noticed that my coil is getting too hot. I tested spark but its intermittent. Brand new coil. I think I'm in for an electrical problem. I'll tackle it tomorrow.

    Ok guys. I made a compression tester today. Crimped together a 10,000 psi hydraulic hose. Put a norgen air gauge. And ground down a spark plug and welded a nipple on it. Question though. Do I need a check valve on this thing? I never did a compression test. But common sense is telling me yes.

    Thanks. My #1 is facing directly to the front. Between 8 and 2 Your 1 and 8 are beside each other. If that makes sense heres a pic. Your front two are side by side my #1 is directly facing front ward. That's why I'm thinking I may be one plug off to the left and not getting correct timing. Or...

    Oh brother. I'm new to the internal workings of the motor. But I just self tought myself how to properly perform a compression test and wet test, after that a leakdown test. I will make a compression tester tomorrow. But for the leakdown I'll just connect with 30 psi. The backfire is exhaust btw.
