Took my Demon to a car show today. Got it back home and found both header bolts had backed out around #1 cylinder. Had to round up two header bolts and replace them. Tightened them up fairly snug but not too snug. I wish Indy Cylinder Head would helicoil their threads instead of leaving them...

Metal work and finished product looks good. That AMD metal is definitely some good stuff. I found it fits better than anything else when I did my build. I replaced the lower quarters on my Demon along with the trunk extensions with AMD and it fit pretty good.

That's a bit far to drive. My car has a 4.56 gear and a fuel cell. I'd have to trailer it plus I head out on Sundays on my run. I'm a truck driver.

There's a huge event in Chattanooga the first Saturday in April I'm going to. It's the Coker Cruise In held at Camp Jordan. They had about 3 thousand cars last year I believe.

Yes. If it had been original I'd of left it that way. When I bought the car it had already been back halved and the original seats long gone along with the engine and transmission. I just received the new and "correct" gull wing for the car I ordered. I'll install it after I buff and polish the car.

I put a Cold Case radiator in my Demon and it does pretty good behind that 440. Looks similar to a factory radiator and fits the factory bolt holes.

Have you finished your car or still in the process of building it?

The car is a factory 340 car and was butterscotch.
