Got 2 sets of hood springs. One set is the light weight type for fiberglass hood. Second set is the stock type for regular hood. $70 plus the ride.

Am I correct in assuming to spin the oil pump counter clockwise on a big block and clockwise on a small block?

Ok I have the fiberglass hood and replaced those stock coil springs with the light tension ones from a member here and now the hood won’t stay in the upright position. Did I really need the light ones or maybe I installed them wrong? Any suggestions?

On the picture can someone enlighten me as to how the seat bottom connects to the track. One of the holes on the seat bottom has threads, so assuming a carriage bolt goes thru the track and screws into the seat bottom how can you tighten the carriage bolt making sure there isn't any interference...
