Well it was the shifter linkage! I removed the linkage and visually saw the shift shaft move, I then turned the drive shaft and click the parking pawl engaged! Thanks everyone for the tips!

Yes when it’s in park there is a faint sound coming from the transmission.

As far as I know the trans is stock. When the car is idling I can hear a noise coming from the transmission. I’m thinking maybe the parking pawl is touching the gear in the tailshaft causing the noise?

I was thinking that could be the problem. I’ll pull it part next week and see what’s going on. Thanks for the feedback!

I have a 1970 Dart with a 360 and A904. The transmission shifts great but for some reason when I put it in park the car rolls like it’s in neutral. Any ideas what it could be?

Ive been trying to find the quarter panel emblems for my 70 Dart Custom. Does anybody have any pics of what the emblem looks like for the quarters? Also looking for scripted rear Dodge emblem.

I disconnected the pushrod and the problem didn’t go away. I’m suspecting I have a bad master cylinder.

Just did that and it free’d them up.

I disconnected it and it didn’t change anything.

I have the big reservoir going to the top port on the distribution block and the small reservoir going to the port on the front side on the bottom.

I just finished installing a pirate jacks disc brake kit on my 70 Dart. I bled the brakes and the front calipers are locked solid. If I crack the bleeder a little fluid squirts out and releases the pressure. My first thought was the pedal rod was too long but that isn’t the problem. Any help...

The tabs are spot welded to the frame. I can modify them to work.

That’s what I was thinking. Should I drill out the tab enough for the hex part to go inside the tab? That should let the C clip on the hose rest up against the tab.
