    Mine's at 17*. I lowered the all in rpm from 3000 to 2500 to quicken the curve, {36* total +8 vacuum advance} didn't help a bit. Added fuel, pulled fuel, still feel it sag part throttle when it shifts.

    Port velocity is port velocity regardless of how the fuel is introduced. Air has mass, faster moving mass has more inertia. Simple physics. Granted booster signal is taken out of the equation with EFI, but the basic principles of port dynamics are not. The new cam is fairly mild, idles at 15"...

    Makes 15" at 700 rpm. Base timing is 12*, idle timing is 17*, 36* by 3000, cruise advance is +8, or up to 44* at cruise. At 2000 it's showing 25-26 degrees. WOT fuel is 12.8. afr. This is the turd in question.

    Not in an A body, but I need some opinions. '86 Ramcharger, 4.10 gears, 727 trans w/stock converter. My old setup, '90 360, 9.3:1 comp, cleaned up 208 heads w/stock 1.88/1.60 valves, 192/203, .459/.471 lift roller, 114LSA, RPM Airgap and headers, fed by a swapped in stock '89 2bbl TBI system...
