Hello, I have a line on a 72 360-truck engine and (2) 727 transmissions one with the long tail shaft and one with a short tail section. Anyone know what has to be done to make this swap into an early Slant A body?

I have a great running 225 Slant with the super six (Two-barrel carb) setup and electronic ignition. Looking to swap it out with a 340 or 360. Runs great, always starts even on 2-year-old gas....

I called the following: 1) Simpson Frame- the guy wants $450 for the front-end alignment. $175 per hour. 2 1/2 hours for a front alignment seems really excessive. Can't imagine it takes 2 1/2 hours for an alignment. Being that the last guy (Unfortunately, he went out of business) who aligned it...
