Common mod's are shaving whichever head .100 to increase compression , new cam (erson group buy at slantsix.org), larger valves (enginebldr on e-pay),2 bbl manifold with carter BBD carb,2 1/4" exhaust pipe,electronic ignition(mopar or HEI). Old heads are lighter but with"drool tubes" newer heads...

have you adjusted the cable on the transmission? Do you have a factory service manual? Is your accelerator pump working? ie when you step on the gas do you get a healthy squirt of gas?

you can bore the original exhaust manifold to 2 1/4 inches and run a 2 1/4 in pipe (single) all the way back. Simple and lighter, and cheaper and more than adequate. Super six well tuned will yield 20 mpg city and 25 highway (well at least mine does) Electronic ignition helps too along with a...

2 1/4 " pipe and a magnaflow muffler. Good sound and no annoying "flowmaster drone"

I got a repo windshield here in san diego for $200 (63 valiant)they gotta be repo'ing them everywhere.

if all your looking for is increased performance, super six and a 2 1/4 exhaust are the way to go. Its night and day performance increase and mileage goes up too! I love mine and you will not be dissapointed. Leave the 4 bbl till you change cams, shave the head and go "all out"

good to hear that the street will be open. I'm excited about cruzin grand ,its a great family atmosphere. I'm hoping to see some slant powered a bodies this year too!
