Nice! Does it have transmission cooler fittings? I can't see them in the picture.

Yes, as long as you can adapt the threads.

What's the go to for radiators?

Good question, my Dart had radiator damage when I got it and an effort to have a radiator shop fix it lasted only a year or so. I stuffed an Aspen radiator in there and haven't seen a stock radiator for decades. But if you post a picture I can probably tell if it will fit.

What's the go to for radiators?

If I could find one, I'd consider it. These were hard enough to find decades ago, however. Last time I took an old brass radiator to a shop for cleaning, though, they told me they couldn't clean it out because the rust and gunk were all that was holding it together.

What's the go to for radiators?

Thanks to all who responded. I don't know if a US Radiators radiator is really in the budget right now, so I'm going to see if I can track down a Champion. It's good to know that some have had success with the Chinesium as well, if it comes to that.

Is ecu needed on Msd pro billet plug and play

There are a lot of MSD distributors out there. If it has only one plug with two wires, purple and green, it needs an external module. If it's something else, post a picture or part number for what distributor you have.

I'm sick of these debates over the ultimate ignition...

I figured the best recipe for an April Fools joke is to put a grain of truth in it. I'd also tied in a real story about officers in the Chinese army getting busted for selling rocket fuel on the black market and filling a missile with water. I didn't know there were tube based CDI systems...

I'm sick of these debates over the ultimate ignition...

Well, making an ignition module is on my to-do list after finishing up the voltage regulators. But the ignition module will not use any black market nuclear weapons components. And even if I did bribe People's Liberation Army officers into parting out a few nukes for their circuitry, I doubt...

I'm sick of these debates over the ultimate ignition...

We've recently had pages and pages of arguments over who makes the ultimate ignition, with HEI fans and Mopar ignition fans yelling at each other endlessly and nothing being accomplished. So it's clear there is only one way to end these arguments: I am going to build the real ultimate ignition...

What's the go to for radiators?

Thanks for the replies so far! Unfortunately the Jegs radiators are all V8 with driver's side outlets. So Champion seems to be the budget go-to. For another option, does anyone know of radiators from other applications that fit with enough fan clearance? I swapped an Aspen / Volare radiator at...

Follow up test with a CDI ignition

To play Captain Obvious, the right answer is "All of them." Any point in the system can take timing out, and when that happens, ain't nothing putting it back in. So for a system to hold the timing that steady, the chain must have no weak links. Sometimes that point is even a component in a...

What's the go to for radiators?

1966 Dodge Dart, 225 slant six, automatic transmission. No air conditioner. This is a turbo street build. I'm running a circle track radiator that is giving me trouble finding enough room to clear fans, a transmission cooler (no cooler in this radiator itself), and intercooler. I suspect a...

It's done for. Get a 3S-GTE out of an MR2 Turbo and swap it in there. :p Seriously, you can probably get something adequate done with crocus cloth, at least until you can get something better.

    Thinking of buying digital headlights

More accurately, Holley has been reselling some generic Chinese headlights under the Retrobrite name that really aren't in the same league as JW Speaker or Truck-Lite when it comes to good beam patterns. They do avoid the wolf spider eye look a lot of the LEDs have, but I would only order a set...

    Thinking of buying digital headlights

No real digital headlights; even LEDs are analog. :p Seriously - what's the goal for these headlights? Solve an existing lighting problem, look high tech, or what? We need to define what you're trying to accomplish with different headlights first. As Yogi Bera may have said, "If you don't know...

    Going back to Chrysler ignition

Guys - the OP is trying to run points without a ballast resistor. This just plain isn't going to work well. There's a reason no OEM ignition ever used points without a ballast resistor (edit: with a 12 volt system; I was not aware of 6v systems without ballasts) or other current control. The...

    Exhaust manifolds

Yes, any slant six exhaust manifold will fit; the main differences were year to year changes in the choke heat stove pocket and the flapper valve. No reason to replace it with another stock-type manifold unless yours is cracked.

    Going back to Chrysler ignition

The only 300 ohm coils I've seen in ignition context have been magnetic pick-up coils. I'm not sure what ignition coil you are running, but to run it without a ballast resistor is likely to mean you are either overheating it or have a coil with so much internal current limiting that it won't...

The story of the early 273
