I appreciate the response, those look real sharp on your 64 dart. I really like the boyds I have only if they cleared the guy I got them from had them on a 68 barracuda, from what I was told they have a little more room.

    Positive coil wire

When I got the car I took out the cluster to inspect the wiring. Everything looked original nothing looked hacked up, only wiring I messed with was headlight and engine wiring. Msd black is going to back of the block red is going to stud on relay ignition feed is going to brown ignition wire...

    Positive coil wire

Alright so I've finally got the car to the point of starting. After relocating the battery to trunk wiring the starter relay msd and voltage regulator. First question there's a box relay looking deal right next to fuse box. Anyone have any idea what that is? I had a wire coming from that box...

    Positive coil wire

Thanks for the replies fellas, I should have stated in the first post that the engine is 70+ on this car. So I have the correct alternator had these style vr sitting around and not an original style. so figured I'd just use what I have the wiring looks pretty straight forward. I just wanted to...

    Positive coil wire

I was going to eliminate the wires I'm not using the blue positive coil wire was gonna be one of them, I'm not running a ballast resistor being that I have a msd box. If I can use that wire as a key on ignition for the msd and voltage regulator then I'll use it. If not what wire would you...

    Positive coil wire

All I'm trying to do is verify the blue wire going to the positive side of the coil, is safe to run my msd and voltage regulator wire too being that they need a key on ignition wire. Which according to the schematic you provided seems to be correct thanks!

You are not lying! I kinda got screwed on the deal I made with one of the brothers up there, told me it had a title. Sold a very clean swb 84 d100 to get this car, once we made a deal and already had a tow truck coming couldn't find the title. Took awhile to get him to come down in price still...

    Swinger front end on duster

The Duster hood is pretty beat up solid but in my opinion not worth fixing. So cutting that hood up wouldn't bother me at all. Yeah that would be another issue is figuring out what to do with the rest of the car once I have taken what I want off it. Wouldn't be trying to make a buck off of it...

    Swinger front end on duster

The clearance issue isn't real bad, but it definitely looks like it's coming in contact with the lower front corner. So if there's a slight improvement in clearance with the Dart fenders I'd feel much better running those wheels on it. My goal was to find some steelies and dog dish for the...

    Swinger front end on duster

What size wheels are you running on your tribute car? Any idea if swapping to a dart front end gives you better wheel clearance? I have some 17 Boyd Coddington wheels on my 69 valiant, having some clearance issues in the front. If doing the swap gives better wheel clearance would also be a plus...

    Swinger front end on duster

Was waiting for your opinion being that you've done the swap. I think ima wait and if it's still available around October when I have extra cash might shoot him a lower offer. Was the swap simple? If I don't buy this car probably not gonna do the swap, unless I find another one matching my...
