    Demon wheel BS question

I’m not taking about width. You can fit a 7-8” wide wheel no problem tire size depending. I’m asking about backspace specifically.

    Demon wheel BS question

Hey guys I tried to find an old thread with info but couldn’t find anything that specific. I found an old set of cragar mags that I wanna run on my 71 demon. They’re all 15 X 7 big bolt pattern. The only issue I have is they have a 3.5 bs. Does anyone have experience with the 3.5 bs front and...

    318 Head Headache

the heads were ported to the gaskets on the intake and on the intake/exhaust sides of the heads. The previous owner had some pictures of the work. He’s not a pro, just a guy in a garage like most of us. The pictures showed what I’d expect from a weekend warrior, rough grind and not polished...

    318 Head Headache

Thank you for the details. I didn’t know KB didn’t make a forged piston. That was me quoting the previous owner’s list of modifications (guess that already makes me wonder…..). I should have specified this in the opening but the car is actually way more alive than I expected a 318 to be and I...

    318 Head Headache

I jumped into an old thread and it was suggested I would get better responses creating a new one with my car’s specific specs in mind. For context: my 71 demon is currently running a 318 that is .30 over with forged Keith Black Pistons. Eddy intake, Eddy AVS2 650 carb, Hughes whiplash cam (cam...

318 head porting for the average joe

Sorry to jump into an old thread but this is right around the question I’m trying to figure out. My 318 is running the larger valves 2.02 and 1.60. The heads were ported a bit by the previous owner. He states he “gasket matched” the heads and intake the best he could but isn’t a “pro”. I haven’t...

    The Demon

Thank you. Like I said in my post originally I really had no idea and frankly got to the point where I didn’t care. I just thought it was that cool. Probably not the best way to do business but sometimes you gotta say screw it and be happy in your life!

Yes!!!! Before covid shut us down I used to help put on the Father’s Day car show downtown. That car showed up a couple times that I can remember. I’ve also seen it out driving a time or two!

Thank you! The paint actually looks like that in real life. Few dings and small scratches here and there but not very noticeable. The rear end will be the big project this year as it’s completely disassembled in my garage. Gonna drive her all year while I prep the rear for winter install!

Thank you for the reply and glad to hear it. The Chevy trucks will always have a special place in my heart as I have built many at this point, but man there’s something special about these old Mopar muscle cars. And my kids say the demon is their favorite so let’s get serious I have no choice!

    The Demon

Hello all! I’m not gonna lie I don’t know how I ended up here, but I’m glad I did. I’ve been a life long Chevy fanatic and in my adult years I’ve built MANY Chevy trucks (specifically C-10s). Well there I was just minding my own Chevy business when I had recently posted my 1979 K30 Chevy dually...
