Yup! The bearings were too tight on the trailer of my second Lund boat. From the factory. Only made it about 100 miles or so... Ever since then I "grease my own nuts" (with apologies to Syleng1 for stealing his "funny", above).

I did that for my wife once: Bought her a car, got the huge red ribbon, tucked it away in the garage and then surprised her with it. Got me some good Karma points with her for....oh....about a week or so! :lol:

I got to thinking the other day that this thing looks like it could have been a boat.

We were "this close" to doing the exact same thing, but fortunately we were able to cover the floors with all of the leftover scraps and remnants. Or a good portion of it, anyway... But I have to admit that neither of us have given any consideration to what the floors will be like for our dogs...

As a previous 2010 Expedition owner, I can personally attest to this. Well, maybe it's not that bad, but... If memory serves, back in the late 80's/early 90's there was a FWD V6 GM that you had to remove the motor mounts in order to replace the rear plugs. Don't recall what model that was, but...

The vet says "no slippery surfaces" for Claire, so as it turns out, it's a good thing we kept every scrap of carpet when we had it all replaced last year. So much for a budget, and I guess I can insulate the shed/shop next year.

Love this VF! Bazza's been looking for a set of those rear window louvers for his VG "forever" (his words), and I have to admit they've grown on me as well. The visor, on the other hand, reminds me of something from the '50's.

Nice looking truck! I came "this close" to buying one just like it Back in The Day (same color, wheels, etc), but with a V8. Looking back I'm glad I didn't buy it, as I was on commission-based sales at the time, and my take home pay dropped-off considerably soon after.
