    Thermostat gasket leaking AGAIN!!!!

Ok I can confirm that it was user error haha. I took everything apart and the thermostat was crooked inside the housing, so assuming the housing couldn’t seat correctly. Used a shoe string to hold the thermostat in place and tight while installing the housing and now all is well (knock on wood.)...

I’m starting to wonder if the intake is the problem, good idea on the dye.

    Thermostat gasket leaking AGAIN!!!!

Supposed to take it to my buddy’s to paint the wheels today, so if we tear it apart I’ll get a picture. If not, it might be a little bit before I can get back to this project. But once I do I’ll definitely post a picture.

    Thermostat gasket leaking AGAIN!!!!

I actually had to get a bunch of gunk out of the bolt holes because the first time I installed it, it wasn’t flush. But once I did that, everything went on smoothly and laid flat. If the thermostat is off center, would that cause issues?

    Thermostat gasket leaking AGAIN!!!!

Finally got around to installing the Billet housing and it’s still leaking! I was refilling the radiator and noticed coolant pooling in the exact same spot as before. Frustrating!

Hey all, I think I’ve finally narrowed the power steering leak to the return line. Just want to double check, does it look like this one from Year One will work? And is there a fitting on the pump I should replace too? Thanks for any input! https://www.yearone.com/Product/chrysler-a-body/fd9925

    Thermostat gasket leaking AGAIN!!!!

I’m having the same issue on my Duster that I just got. Chrome housing just leaks. Reading through this thread, looks like this one is the way to go. Any recommendations on thermostats? I’m not sure what’s in it now, so I figured I’d just replace it. Also any recommendations for an upper...

And they’re expensive! May just paint them. Probably going to be temporary anyways since I want to put mag wheels on it.

Thank you all for the kind welcome! Question for the group…where might I find new center caps and lug nuts that will fit the BBP rally wheels I have? I would like to repaint them to the correct silver color soon. Right now I have a hodgepodge of mismatched lug nuts.

Thanks! The rear end and axles were upgraded, so it’s got the big bolt pattern, which I am happy with! I had been told that the BBP opens up a whole world of possibilities for wheels. I change my opinion on the Twister emblem daily haha. One day I like it, the next I think it makes it too busy.

Hey all! Been reading the forums for a while now and finally decided join. My grandma had a 76 4 door Dodge Dart with a 318 that my dad would take me out riding in when I was a kid. Since then I’ve been hooked! So I finally decided it was time to start looking so that I could create those...
