Me personally, I would hesitate blaming the cam. what I hear it doesn't sound very aggressive. I run cams with 72° of overlap on the street and make them work well. I'm not saying it is in a contributing factor but I would be looking at Mounts,wires,cap,carb, ignition and other supporting cast...

I can see why you're looking. In my opinion they're one of the best looking aftermarket wheels for A body. I have considered changing bolt patterns just for that reason. Good luck on your search.

It looks like you just need the cable pin as mentioned. I also use my stock cable it was a little long but just made a little swoosh behind the bracket and it's always worked fine.

Bad fuel and too much timing will do that. Just a guess.
