these are speedmaster heads (pro comp) and came with the studs, nuts and washers.I don't really care for the 12 point nuts -they seem really tall to me. I think I am going to just replace the nuts with regular grade 8 nuts

I have a kwik question about my small block. Iam putting new aluminum heads on my 360. The heads have extra thick deck surface (5/8 for angle milling) so I needed longer than normal bolts (actually studs) I installed the studs (just till they bottomed out) and Torqued the heads to 75#.Now...

In doing a refresh on my smallblock '68 cuda, I am changing the heads and the headers. Problem is one of the header tubes (cyl. #1) is hitting on the p/s box, right at the sector adjusting screw. Never had a header hit there before. Looks like I would have to collapse the tube about 1/3 to 1/2...

I used the Mancini kit without any problem. Infact it was about 1/4 inch wider than my frame rail which gave a nice little ridge to weld on

If there isn't any external leaks then it sounds like the master cylinder is bypassing back into the reservoir. Time to rebuild/replace/or upgrade the master cylinder

No emission standards in Iowa and no talk of having any. Years ago they had emmission / safety inspections (I was an inspector) but that lasted less than 2 years. Now Iowa doesn't have any inspections for anything except restaurants ...:blob:

Update: okay now here comes the facts... front end was pulled from the mold too soon in my opinion as the cowl area sagged and the right fender bottom was twisted and too far in (like it sat on the ground before it was fully cured). I can not get the seams to match my body lines worth a damn...
