Agree, I've had mine off a couple times for paint. Most all the trim has bolts and pal nuts only a couple push clips on the quarter panel window short trim.

This may be of some help. Do the collectors slip on? They appear as if they do so, I would also cut the headers apart at the flange if you can. By installing them in "groups" may be easier. That is how I do mine.

I just finished doing this very job. Once the rubber is out of the way I grab my die grinder and a round carbide bit. Carefully grind a vertical groove up and down the bushing shell. Then collapse it with a chisel. It falls out. Yes it is possible to grind too deep and groove the inside...

Most bizarre post I've ever seen, CudaFactHackJob! I read many comments never commenting but this one is way out there! Anyone who does what you suggest is in for a lot of work and fluid clean up. Not recommended IMO.

67 Cuda "383" S. H code car. Now with a 440 and good internals. Best ET: 10.58 @ 124, more common runs in the 10.70's. It has a 10.97 pass with two people on board!

agree with easy rider. a 727 will only work with real modification to the floor pan [hammer or cut and increase the size]. A well built 904 will be great for a 360! A 904 [999] is behind this small block....433". Original /6 car as well.
