2005 Chrysler Crossfire , not exactly a mopar, but really fun to drive and gets about 25 MPG !

I agree with the A-833 (especially an OD model), there are plenty of them around since they seem to last forever. Biggest issue will be adapting clutch linkage and getting trans that locates shifter where he needs it. If he can find a complete setup (or most of one) that is the way to go. Bob

almost forgot, You can use the eearly timing cover , but will have to relocate the timing marks 90 degrees on the balancer to accomadate the early covers have timing marks on the passenger side while the 360's came with them on the drivers side. Bob

since you already have a 273 car , it should have the proper steering center link (V-8 cars have them , not slant 6 cars!) You will need a car center sump oil pan and oil pump pickup for a 360 (273-318-340 pan does not fit a 360) You will need to make spacers to fit the drivers side engine...

'71 definately faster by a bunch. The TQ's were changed in 1972 model year and later and are supposedly better. I dunno about that. I had a '72 duster I bought wrecked (but it still was driveable) as a parts car. 340/auto with stock (3.23 open) rear. Car was actually pretty quick and fun...

Actually , 67 & 68 barracuda hoods will not match the front header panel. 1969 barracuda hood will work fine (and fit properly) on a 1973-1976 dart (or visa-versa!). Bob

I just scored a Glastek hood bolt-on hood (with 6 pak scoop molded in) for my 73 dart racecar. I need to locate and purchase some hood hinge springs that are light and provide less lift (to avoid overloading the FG hood and cracking it). Any ideas, leads or sources for these are welcome...

I parted out a 1967 dart that had 1973 fenders on it. The 67 grille, headights and headlight bezels all fit well. I would give it a try. Bob

I actaully set mine in the car, centered it, adjusted the pinion angle to the desired 5-7 degrees down (since it is a racecar with SS springs,etc) tacked it in place and then removed the housing and welded the perches , painted it and then reinstalled everything. I did it that way to avoid...
