    Autocross/Track Duster Wheel Help

If you want to run "square", your best bet with a Duster is 18x9.5's with a 68-70 B body 8 3/4 out back. You run 18x9.5's with about 35mm of offset, and 275/35/18's all the way around. That would require pretty much no bodywork and would clear on the street. With a BBP A-body 8/3 the rear will...

    Autocross/Track Duster Wheel Help

Thanks for all the info guys. I am more focused on the rim size and knew 315 was way more than I need or wanted. Just seems that article drove the thread that way. I tried a 17X10 rim with 275/40 my buddy had laying around. The inside of the rim rubbed the tinniest bit on the top of the upper...

    Autocross/Track Duster Wheel Help

Yes, that is one of the articles I saw. The 25mm reference is from that article. Doing a little more research, I believe the other article was on Wracks71 Duster. I am running the QA1 6 link setup out the back; so no leaf springs to reference. The bars do utilize the stock shackle holes.

    Autocross/Track Duster Wheel Help

Hi guys, I am looking for a little help. I recently installed a QA1 suspension on all four corners of my 1970 Duster 340. I am looking to take her to both track and autocross events. I also upgraded to the 5X4.5 bolt pattern all around. I am looking at 18x10 inch rims currently. Does anyone have...

[FOR SALE] 1972 Valiant 4 door

Thanks I am not sure what its actually called but its a little nut that sits on top of the wiper linkage to connect the wiper arms to the linkage. It kind of looks like an acorn with ridges along the sides.

    HELP Bad Advise

Yes, I believe I could get my old flywheel resurfaced. I wasn't sure of how much that would cost and I don’t know of any good machine shops in the North Jersey area. If anyone knows of any please don’t hesitate to chime in. As far as getting the bell housing done, I have no idea where to take it...

    HELP Bad Advise

I just triple checked and the clutch disc measures 10.5 so that should at least be right. I hear what you’re saying about the bell housing and that's what I said to him. However, I didn't trust my gut and already ground down the bell housing so what's done is done. The crappy part is that it...

    New Clutch and Flywheel HELP!

Oh! I forgot to explain that I that the fingers on the pressure plate ended up getting bent while taking to motor out of the car. There was no damage to the pressure plate while it was installed in the car. This is my first classic car build and I am sorry if I am making this confusing. The...

    New Clutch and Flywheel HELP!

I had my motor rebuilt by Physixx AKA Ken about 2 years ago. When we took it apart he suggested that I replace the flywheel and clutch. The reasoning behind it was, that since I had everything apart it would be easier to do. Unfortunately due to some exigent circumstances and low cash flow I...
