    Im not sure what happened.Its a new motor. Im to bummed out to enter the garage.Ive been working on this car for 3 years and this is what happens. Im not sure what to do.maybe Ill try to find another running motor and trans,Something I can drop in and go.

    Just a disappointing update. Back in the garage trying to tune the holley and at some point the milidon oil pump quit working and it sure sounds like it did some damage.This is the only luck I have.I think Im done.

    Well its not timing If I adjust either way The idle gets worse gets worse.I was able to get the carb adjusted so I can stay in the garage with out commiting suicide though. I Guess look for a manifold leak

    Well Im not sure what happened but if my timing marks are correct Im way off. I dont know how it would of moved. I feel stupid.     OK it did idle long enough for me to adjust the idle screws but what seems od is that the more I went counter clockwise the better it idled and I had to turn the fast idle screw in alot more to keep it running

    I dont really want to change the look of my ride,I like the early 70s super stock look and yes it will be mainly a cruiser with a once in awhile high speed blast, if you know what I mean. So a 11 inch with a stall of 2400-3000 is what I need?

    Ill be able to try it out this weekend, Also a buddy of mine has a eddy pump that flows at 120 gph but is set at 6 psi. Do i need the 8.5 regulated down to 6 even if the gph is the same?. Also those are old school L60s on 14x8 1/2 U.S. indy mags.

    Some rust mostly dried up gas debre and fuzz and dust. I was told it was new,used for a short time but sat on a shelf for a while. I did replace the whole fuel system.

    Im running a griffin radiator that does not have a cooler on the bottom. I am using a derale cooler with fan and it is super hot going in and cold coming out so it seems to be working good.     I have a holley regulator but there is not a whole lot of places to mount it between the mech pump and carb. I see they do regulator brackets that mount off the carb studs but they seem to be for holleys. Will they work for edels also?
