Good thread! Just did my drivers side on my 67 fastback tonight after reading this thread last week. I used a bigger plate than I saw here, also, my interior is stripped.

after taking it on a 250 mile trip this weekend and using the belts more, they are a bit of a pain in the ***. When you put them on they lock up at least twice everytime you try to put them on, even if you are pulling slowly. But that means they will lock up when you do hit someone. And that is...

you could take the belt out of the plastic piece that holds them stiff and run them through the seat like the origional lap belt. But if you get them for your runner, you could see how they would fit in your other car.

abodyhotrod, did you polish that? you have the same guages as me, and i was going to polish it, then saw syndcuda's dash and had been thinking about painting the top half with black wrinkle. Its nice to compare and see what it would come out looking like. Steve

ordered my A-11 a week and half ago, can't wait for it to get here. Probably won't get mine in until June or later, farming takes alot of time in the spring. Also gonna learn how to polish aluminum on this project. Should look great when its done!

well i got some 4 mil plastic, and used some caulk that i had, and they turned out pretty good. the caulk got a little bit messy when i put too much on, but it doens't damage any paint and comes right off. This is the first time i have had the front door panels on the car since i bought it 23...
