What kind of tape is this?

Found in all my Abodies in only two places: sealing the bottom of the inner door seals to the doors, and wrapped around the AC vacuum harness in tight spots. It's not vinyl, it's adhesive so it's not the non-adhesive harness tape everyone keeps asking about. 2 inches wide. Thanks.

1969 Dart interior paint colors resources

If I recall, that information should be in the body and paint section of the '69 Dodge service manual. Yours will be all blue inside, but my '69 was gold outside, cream interior door frames, black dash and champagne upholstery. It's also important to remember that the door frames and a pillars...

    Interior paint names/codes for 1968 A-bodies?

Thank you for the help. I found this thread from a while back which was also helpful, since the second picture down shows a '67 with the identical interior as mine. The only difference is that the '67 is tan outside, my '68 is Turbine Bronze. 1967 Copper interior parts The tan interior paint...

    Interior paint names/codes for 1968 A-bodies?

Hey guys...quick backstory: Over each winter, I have put my '68 Valiant parts runner/recycles hauler/anything else into my garage and overhauled something. Last winter it was all mechanical...brakes, fuel tank, shocks, cooling system, etc. This year it is the interior. New floor pans...

Take a look at these C2Cfabrication floor pans...

It's too late to send them back because I went ahead and tried to make them work. I have a time constraint and things have to move forward. I'll say this: the only similarity between these panels and the original floor pans is that they are both made of metal. There is no relationship between...

I'm sure. Here's the ebay listing. I need my a** kicked for not looking at those pictures more closely. 1967 1968 1969 1970 1971 1972-76 Dart Duster Valiant Scamp Rear Floor Pans Pair | eBay

Take a look at these C2Cfabrication floor pans...

Yes, everything except the last picture was the same outfit that I DON'T recommend. Stick with Year One or some other known outfit. Thanks for those pictures, that's exactly what I'm doing.

Take a look at these C2Cfabrication floor pans...

Hey guys: Well, it looks like going cheap bit me again. I've been replacing floor pans in my '68 and bought drop-ins for the front and then the rear because I didn't trust my amatuer metal fabrication skills with doing full pan halves. In hindsight, that's what I should have done. I...

Sail panel backing boards, what are they made of?

Thank you. I think Home Depot carries this material, or a close approximation thereof.

Sail panel backing boards, what are they made of?

Hey guys: As the title states, I am curious what the original sail panel board material was. Mine are in poor condition from age and water intrusion around the rear window gasket. These are for a '68 Plymouth and I don't think they repop them. I can make them but need to find a close...

How to sanitize interior after long-term rodent intrusion?

Keep it on topic...this isn't another thread for you to entertain and hold court. Otherwise I'll ask a mod to delete the thread. THANKS.

How to sanitize interior after long-term rodent intrusion?

Hey everyone: Another sedan followed me home this weekend, this time a '69 Dart Custom. It's another one of those cars that was taken great care of by the original owners, then passed down to a relative that damaged it. In this case it was an older man who caused a traffic accident and folded...

Does the back of this console look right?

Hey man, thanks a lot for that picture. I thought something had to be missing. Here are YOUR pictures. I just unwrapped that carpet and laid it out as flat as possible so that you can see the pattern.

Does the back of this console look right?

I can't pull up a usable picture to compare to. This console seems like part of it is missing at the rear. Does it look right? I want to be sure before I install the carpet. Thanks.

Seat foam for the later buckets?

    That explains that. Thanks man.

Seat foam for the later buckets?

Since Legendary appears to not deign to offer replacement seat foam for the '73-up buckets, what's the alternative? Seems like if someone were going to drop $700 on seat covers they could at least stock the foam as well.

My '73 Sport is the exact same scheme.

Cheapest seat covers split bench 74 duster?

I think you can either get cheap, or get quality. Legendary seems to be the go-to for upholstery. There's a company called PUI, but I've heard less than positive reviews for them. I'm about to do front seat covers on my Sport and PUI was about $60.00 cheaper for the pair. Not worth the risk IMHO.

    Plastic glove box liner

I don't know what to tell you then, other than the pics show the obvious differences. Did it originally have a plastic liner or cardboard? I would guess that a pic of both of those glovebox openings would be revealing.

    Plastic glove box liner

No, the dash frame changed in December 1973, corresponding with the introduction of the plastic glovebox liner early in the '74 model year. So yes it is possible to have an EARLY '74 with a cardboard liner...I had one in a '74 Valiant made 9/73. Since I have two '73's, I took pictures of the...

So nobody has EVER replaced that applique on any car that got restored? I don't believe that.

The white letters are illuminated on the '73-up, you can't just paint them.

Would anyone have tips on removing the old vinyl woodgrain overlay? Mine is actually still stuck pretty good, just faded. Thanks.

Y3 Y6 interior paint code question

I guess questions on this forum have to possess a certain coolness factor or interest level to get answered. I found the codes in my factory body service manual, which actually has the answers to most questions that would ever need asked, thankfully.

Y3 Y6 interior paint code question

Hey guys: If you got a 1973-76 with the common yellow-gold interior color, how to you get dash paint mixed for it? Thanks.
