Headliner installation "can i do it myself?"

Here's another site that I used: http://restorick.com/tech/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5 I did it but I will never do it again. If you can get it done for $300 I would take that. I thought I could do it in 8 hours but by the time I got the old one out, everything off, and the new one stretched and in-...

    seat cover

Cool. I just ordered a cover for the front seat, with the "Crater" material that they have on closeout, for a total of $129.50 with armrest. I will post pictures when I get them on- he said about 2 weeks delivery.

    rockt mtn dash/gauges

What kind of market is there for these? That dash is cool and I would like it better than my current dash, but it seems like most people want 'original' or at least looking like original. I have the technology, tools, and time to make this... but how many would I sell? 3 or 300? I suspect they...

    seat cover

When I saw this thread I thought he meant seat covers like you buy at Schucks for $39.99. I am looking for that for my Barracuda split bench. I do not have 330 fun tickets plus foam rebuild costs to give up right now, but my seats are a mess. I would love to find a cheap seat cover to get me by...

    Push button heater controls rebuild

Great advice. They did not have my exact part number, but sold me a similar part that they said would have the same wafers in it. They told me I could order the correct part for like $110 or buy the one they had for $20. I bought it, took it apart, robbed the wafers, cleaned everything up...

    Push button heater controls rebuild

For a 69 Barracuda with the push button heater controls: I bought a "working" part to replace mine that had fallen apart. Only to find that it was about 5 pushes away from being in the same shape as my old one. So I pulled the back off (it was half off already) and found the wafer boards as in...

    steering wheel help

I have been wondering the same thing. I have a steering wheel that is cracked in many places. Being currently unemployed, I put my time value at about zero so I was wondering how I could fill and smooth the cracks to make it look good rather than buy a new one. I wonder if there is a paint or...

Add headrests to split bench '69 Barracuda

Trying to keep this car all original but I want headrests for safety issues. It has the front split bench with a fold down armrest. I have seen a few headrests for sale for '69 Barracuda, but how do I install them? Are there kits available? I have searched for a while now on this forum and the...

Need ideas for interior trunk panelling.

You could make this using actual fiberglass cloth or carbon fiber and it would be bullet proof. This is what I would do- no moisture issues even over time, very light, and easy to make into any shape. You can cut it (ceramic blade works well), drill it, paint it, glue to it....

    Carbon Fiber Dashpad

What he said- I want one too. I am into sailboat racing- we use alot of cf parts. I don't know how to make them, I just break them. But I want this dash and maybe some other parts...
