70 340 Swinger -rally dash - car was radio delete but former owner hacked up and installed a stereo. I have not been able to find pics of this dash w/radio delete option. Was there a plate that went over the existing radio cutouts - or were there no cutouts at all ? If anybody has a pic of this...

And one more question - regarding dash frame - don't have it dismantled yet but it was a radio delete car and some prior Bozo hacked the dash AND the plastic trim real good. I might be able to patch dash from donor, but if not - are standard and rally dash frames different ? Also - are rally...

There's was a thread here sometime back (6 months?) regarding dash removal without windshield removal. From what I recall it has been done. I don't think it would be worth the headaches, don't remember how the guy got to the bolts - maybe you could search it. I would'nt bother trying myself - no...

Mine is actually a thick insulating pad, really heavy-duty, with some type of paper backing and a "felt paper" layer as well. Probably weighs 10-12 lbs ! ('73 car)

The insulation panel that hangs between back seat and trunk - mines shot - any suggestions on optional materials that I can cut and fit that do a good job of insulating ?

I'm looking for the circular clips that attach the cardboard sailpanels on my 73 Swinger - a source OTHER than RT Specialties (long story).
