they were slightly dented to fit, and had about 1/8" clearance. Will double check the make, but they are 1 3/4 tubes for sure.

FWIW, Laysons Restorations has a complete kit that uses a gas cylinder, like modern hatches or trunks. We have one on my daughters 66 cuda, works great. Far superior to the original, IMHO.

cool. I dulled one bit, and had a machine shop dull another. We could not drill them out! I may send you a set to fix just for spares...

I need a complete trunk hinge for a 66 barracuda, with an unbroken, or completely removed, pin. Mine is rusted into the hinge and sheared off, and is near impossible to drill out. Thanks!

Good catch! According to the 1973 Service Manual, the defroster "hoses" are actually called tubes, and the hoses that carry the coolant are called hoses.

I got mine from Nostalgia Air Parts. The work great, are very flexible, and installed easily. I overcame the difference in sizing on the one hose by installing an adapter in between the heater box and the vent. Not stock, but only a discernig eye can tell. The units for the hose are in feet.

Mine are out of a 73 340 H-code Duster. I replaced with a 1.000 for stiffer suspension - noticeably different. Need new tires and wheels, now. Jim
