Did the original cars come with long wheel studs?

I saw this just the other day but don't know if it's true.

I have a magazine article that indicates they came with a single air shock on the right rear only.

Did the seats have a gap between the upper and lower cushions or not?

I'd be most interested in the current "legal" racers. There are going to be a lot of variations in clone builds so seeing the legal ones would be a good measuring stick for new clone builds.

I'd like to see 2 areas: 1. Build specifics (I realize a lot of builders don't want to spill some secrets but there still should be some pics and details) 2. Pics of cars past and current. Who currently owns the original ones and who are racing any of the cars.

For all of the people (including me) that couldn't wait for this forum to be created there sure isn't a lot of info or pictures on here yet. There has to be build pictures even for the clones.

These headers and the Hooker ones I've seen did not have plates to bolt up to the reducers. If the original cars were required to have exhaust (per other posts), did all of the racers modify their headers?

What was the reason(s) I've seen so many broken/repaired crossrams for sale over the years?

I remember reading some racers put oversize snow tires in the trunk and filled them with water for better traction.
