    Street Gear Poll

I am an obvious outlier but I changed out my 3.91 to 3.23 and really liked how it changed the car. Thing still runs low 13s at 105mph in the quarter mile on crappy tires... granted I never hit 4th gear while racing so im shifting less. I run a lot of highway too so that was also a motivating factor

What about 3.23s? Awesome for the freeway or general driving too. That's what I run with my 340 4 speed and am flirting with 12s in the quarter mile

Also, my disc is a brand new Hayes. I assume that it should work fine with whatever pressure plate. I cant imagine that dimension wise there too much different from the Centerforce disc.

    Dana 44 vs 8 3/4

The 8 3/4 is an awsome axel. It will be plenty strong. Remember even 426 HEMI's and 440's used the 8 3/4 axel in some application. They only used the Dana 60 if they were a 4-speed. The Dana 44 is a good axel but they dont have the track record like the 8 3/4.

    T-5 Transmission

I know there are direct 5-speed tranny swaps available from Keisler but they are way to expensive for my blood. I have heard of people swapping in Mustang T-5 trannys and i was wondering if anyone on this site has done anything similar. Any help will be great. Thanks
