I was told the other day that there are 2 o-rings where the speedometer cable goes in but most people only know about the one that is easy to see. There is a second one that is hard to see that usually never gets replaced. Might check it out.

I just installed the Lokar kickdown cable and the inside cable will not reach the carb linkage, if i cut the cable sleeve will that make the inside cable reach where I need to hook it up to the carb? I hope I am making since to you.
