actualy a 7 1/4 sure grip is quite strong compared to an open 7 1/4. not sayin it is as strong as an 8 1/4 or 8 3/4 but better than an open diff. i want one. the advantage would be you woulndt need to build a driveshaft or change anything else.

looking to swap a 360 into my 66 dart. the trans was originaly behind a 273. can i just get a converter from a mid 80's dippy, new yorker, ect. with a 360 and bolt it up? will i need the flex plate also?
