Do i need a adjustable pinion snubber?

Thanks guys, that should save me a few bucks. Car is an automatic and defineltly wont be over 500hp. As for tires im only planning on running the widest street tire possible under the car without rubbing. I went with the 1+ ride height for the stance.

Anyone ever use Torqueflites by Randy in Michigan??

I was at the mopar swap meet today and grabbed a business card from a booth set up there. The guys business was all in rebuilding 904 and 727 transmissions. He had pretty good prices on both models just curious if anyone here has any experience or heard anything about his services. Thanks

I am in the process of building my 70 dart swinger. Car has a 8.75 rear with 3:55 gears. I am sticking with the factory 318 that i estimate max 400hp when completed, probley more like 350hp with my first time port work. But anyways I had planned on having my stock 904 rebuilt. I rebuilt a...

How to tell if i have a sure grip center??

Ok so im pretty sure i do have the cone style. Also while looking at the gear i found it was stamped 3.55 s. So that would be my 3.55 gears. Also if i spin the gear in one direction both bearings where the axle inserts into the carrier spin in the same direction so it should be sure grip i...

How to tell if i have a sure grip center??

Just curious if there is any way to find out what i have before i install it. When i bought it years ago i was told it was 3:55gears and suregrip. Is there any way to make sure? And if so how do i tell if it is a clutch or cone type? Do they both take the same gear lube? Any way to...

ok thanks guys, seems like it shouldnt be too bad geting them off then. I had to cut a bearing off a snowmobile drive axle once sounds like the same thing, i just got close to the axle and then was able to break it apart with a chisel, that just helped me from scaring the axle. Thanks mark

Anyone change over to the mopar performance rear axle bearing sets???

Saw these in the summit magazine for 119.95, I just put a 8 3/4 in my 70 swinger. The axles are bolted in but the center section is not. So i figured when i pull the axle out to put the center section in i should just replace the bearings. This set says it eliminates the production bearing...
