    Charger got a flat...

I don't know if they are run flat. That's the irony in the story, this doesn't have a spare. Just a air compressor. I guess the only real point is that a 425 horse Challenger with a 6 speed manual is more fun than a 345 horse Charger with an automatic.

What are you doing to your car this winter?

todays plan was to clean the garage so i have room to work this winter. With the rain and a hangover i'm not sure how much will get done. But the parts waiting for the dart are an AAR figerglass hood, rocky mountain dash to go in, install headliner, new fuse box, install relays for the...

It's time to start thinking about another project.

maybe do some shopping around to see what you can find first. Maybe you will find a nice rolling body with no drivetrain and build it up. Or if you find one with a /6 or 318 build it for the wife. I'll be looking for the build thread though.

    cars in barns

yea, I didn't want to be one of "those guys" so when i got a call last week from someone wanting to buy my Barracuda I sold it to him. I've realized that i'm not gonna have the means to restore it the way that i want to, and I will get to see it when its done since its a local buyer. And i...

    bad guy alert

i bought some bucket seats and a manual steering box from dusterdood this summer. He had the steering box at work to get a shipping quote for somone else. Instead of driving another 20 minets to get it he just shipped to to me at no extra charge. It came 3 days after i picked the seats up at his...

    Should I be nervous?

to get the upper ball joints apart i put a big adjustable wrench on it, and they came right off. I work on a farm, so i just borrowed the 24" adjustable. I bet a pipe wrench would work too, maybe a pipe on the end for more leverage. I had the cut my upper control arm bushings out. I broke the...

powedercoating probably would keep it cleaner. I cleaned it with some wheel cleaner tongiht, and it looks better, definatly not new. However i put it back on. I need to get it in driving condtion cause that is the most fun for me! Maybe next winter i'll take it back off and send it down to...

    cleaning aluminum intake

hi, I have to take my intake off to fix an oil leak and it is a little dirty. I was new a year ago and the aluminum is a bit dirty, figured i should brighten while i got it off. Does anyone know a good cleaning product for it? Thanks, Steve

With $4 gas, what do you get for mileage??????

    i get the same mileage as last years $3 gas 318 + 904 + 3.91 = 12

Heads up on ethanol in your gas.

Ethanol is subsidised so the price is lower than gas and people will buy it.

    Opinions on best Mopar Mag

i prefer mopar muscle, i like the articles and do a good job with the feature cars. Also easy to follow everything. The last time i picked up a Mopar Action, they cut the articles up and you have to flip all through the magazine just to read on article, and they still weren't all color. Half the...

thanks to everyone that helped me get my dart running!!

Got it running last night! First rebuild i've done, and it has been successful thus far! Only problems we had were that i somehow dissconected the wire that runs from the starter relay to the firewall to power the ammeter. And that wire was also laying across the side and touching my new rims...

    Went through receipts today

bought my dart for $3,500 in '04, put about $500 right in, probably put another $6,000 in this winter, with possibly $2,000 more to go. All on a car i bought to be a cruiser while i worked on my Barracuda which i have put a rough budget at $30,000 +
