Anyone else having this problem? (finding trim parts)

Just trying to find out if anyone else is or has had the same problem I'm having. I have a 72 Dart Swinger. I've been looking for some trim clips, that hold the chrome molding, that is just under the sale panels. Had to remove them, to paint the roof. I was very careful, when I removed them...

    Torque specs, just wondering

Thanks for the info. All the above is for tightening down bolts. And I understand that. What I'm talking about is tightening down a nut onto a stud. So, does this mean that if you were to stop tightening the nut at 90# instead of 100#, the threads on the stud would not be properly streatched...

    Torque specs, just wondering

Just finished torquing the ball joints, on the upper and lower control arms to 100 ft. lbs. While doings so, I wondered how that number was arrived at? How is a torque spec decided? Why 100# not 90 or 110? What happens if you only go to 90? My cam bolts where 65#. Why not 70 or 80? Inquiring...

I'd love to have this, if for nothing else but the shock value. A collector in Michigan, owns it now.

So, what does everyone do with parts pulled?

Living where I do, as I said, not too many Mopar people around. So, those that might be interested live at least 3+ hours away. I usually get, "Man, if you only lived closer." But, once I get everything pulled, I'll do an inventory and take some pix and put them on the various Mopar sites...

So, what does everyone do with parts pulled?

Just wandering what everyone does with good parts, they pull from their rigs. Just pulled the 225 and 904, which is heading for a new home in a Duster. Now I'm pulling stuff, (power steering pump, all the steering, front suspension, steering columm from coupler down, new drums and brakes...

    Wheel base?

for a 72 swinger, they are listing coupe,(from Valiant.org.), at 108 and the hard top at 111. My question is, besides the wheel base, what is the diff. between a coupe and a hard top?

    Diff between 72-73 Dart

Is there a differance between the 72 and the 73 Dart Swinger? Reason I ask, I already have a 73 oem shop manual. Am hoping I can use it. Thanks
