show us your rattle can paint jobs.

The top is brush painted hardware store enamel, and the body is Rustoleum spray cans. After 4 years it doesn't look quite this good anymore, but it has held up surprisingly well.

    trans builder in MI?

I'd also recomend "Enhanced Performance" on Hosmer St. They may not be the cheapest or the fastest, but they do good work, and both the father and the son are great guys to work with.

    Woodward DreamCruise

Hung out at the Blarney Stone a couple of years ago, pretty nice place. :) Not sure where I'll be this year, but most likely will be driving my '65 300.

    1970 Duster door jamb switch

Most stores can get them, but won't show them in the listings. Have them look up chevy van's from the '80s. Some of them used the same switch.

That's turned into one of my favorite shows. Say hi, if you see me with one of my cars. I was mostly shooting video, so no pictures to add. Did you see the yellow '57 Plymouth?

    belvedere question

In 1960 there were just full size cars, and valiants. The letter designation didn't start till later in the '60s when there were more bodies. C bodies began in '65, not sure when they officially named the others.

    Awesome Old Machine

I got to see the 4449 several times in July when it was here in Michigan. Definitely an awesome sight. These are a couple of videos I shot of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcKD3NjQ-0E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GjxehpBKM8

    check out this new yorker

Looks very nice. I've got a '65 300 and it's a blast to drive. Interesting that it seems to have a clock, but no radio. No A/C which makes working under the hood, and the dash a whole lot easier. 413 was standard for New Yorkers and the 300L, available in the regular 300. If you get it...

    Idea for a car show!

That is a great idea. I know some of the antique car clubs have done that. I used to look at some Model A magazines and they often had info on 1920s-30s clothes. As for the music at car shows, my guess is DJs see old cars and think of the movie American Graffitti, or Happy Days, so you get...

    big block daily driver?

I don't have any experience with trucks, so can't help with most of the questions. However I can say that if the carb and choke, and heat riser etc is set up properly starting in the winter should not be a big deal. I have driven my Dart the last two winters and even after sitting outside...

    Is my dart missing stuff?

1974 Dart Sedan 318 with A/C... I've noticed what seem to be empty screwholes in a couple of spots under the hood. Is there supposed to be something there? 1. A pair of holes on the passenger side fender well next to the vacuum ball 2. Another pair of holes on the firewall between...
