Oops, forgot to attach the pic.

Mech water temp gauge sender location?

I was going to put the mechanical water temp gauge in the hole pictured, but it is not deep enough for the long sender. I have a 3/8 x 3/8 bushing that would increase the height, but the probe doesn't quite fit through. Can these sender/probes on the Sunpro mech water temp gauges be cut or...

Problems with Eddy Elite valve covers

In raised letters on the gasket rail is the word "TAIWAN". Not that that would ruin the smoothness of the gasket rail since there is all sorts of casting bumps and crap anyway. And, technically, taiwan is not china (yet)

Funny incident at Kragen Auto Parts

The Kragen is a lot closer to my house than the "good" auto parts store in town, so I went there this morning. I really wasn't in the mood for attitude this morning, especially from some dumbass, so I just left all the stuff on the counter I was going to buy and went to the other place.

Funny incident at Kragen Auto Parts

I haven't bought any trans fluid for a while. I asked the guy for some Dexron and he gave me Dexron/Mercon. Admittedley, I didn't know what Mercon is. So I asked him, are these the same? Or is there a fluid that is just Dexron. He copped an attitude, acted like I was the biggest idiot in...

Problems with Eddy Elite valve covers

The M/T VCs I have fit the pattern, the stock 360 VCs fit. Kind of ironic the Eddys don't fit on the Eddie heads.

Problems with Eddy Elite valve covers

Has anybody else had problems with the fit of the Edelbrock Elite valve covers? I have Eddy heads, valve cover gaskets, and just purchased the Elite valve covers (made in Taiwan). There was a bunch of slag in the seams, but worst of all, the holes in the valve covers didn't quite line up with...

Did any 67-69 Cudas have fender blinkers?

Maybe I can get some of the proper ones from one of the fiberglass hood folks. Anybody out there have a set you no longer have a need for?

Did any 67-69 Cudas have fender blinkers?

Thanks Steve68 and CudaChick1968! Hayfork, that's great. I'm in a rural area, but not quite out that far, lol

Did any 67-69 Cudas have fender blinkers?

BTW, I live in Redding, CA. I've been here for 9 years. I have yet to see a moving 67-69 Barracuda since I've been here. (I hear there is a yellow one though). A freind of mine has an original 67 big block Formula S FB he is restoring, but he is taking his time.

Did any 67-69 Cudas have fender blinkers?

Nice, thanks for the close up. Would somebody be kind enough to measure how far away from the front of the hood and the side of the hood the blinkers are?

Did any 67-69 Cudas have fender blinkers?

It's funny, the Dart fender blinkers I have are larger and clunkier than the Chrysler 300 ones I have. As far as the side markers, I like the round 68 ones also, and may put a set of those on the car. Not much is original on the car anymore. I put in a 74 Duster K-frame, 73 Dart front disk...

Did any 67-69 Cudas have fender blinkers?

I see those are mounted on the hood. They weren't mounted on the fenders?

Did any 67-69 Cudas have fender blinkers?

As the title says, did any 67-69 Barracudas ever have fender blinkers? I have a couple of sets in my garage (one Dart set, one Chrysler 300 set), and was thinking I may install some on my 67 Barracuda FB. I think the ones on my Dart are cool. What do you all think?

    power steering and power breaks

Power steering has a shorter shaft in the column (the power steering box is longer than manual). The coupler is different also. You will also need the brackets for the power steering pump and the pressure hoses. I had my power steering box rebuilt by Firm Feel. It is fantastic. If you...

    Tires

On my 73 Swinger, I have 15X7 Cragar 313 Smoothies (baby moons) with 4.125 (4 1/8") backspacing. I mounted 225/60/15 BFG Radial T/A's on all four. With this setup, I think the 235/60/15 would rub in the front. It might fit with more backspacing.
