Turbos all the way, but I'm a lil bias. As far as turbo lag, it all depends on how you size your turbos (street/track). The two T3's on my 318 start seeing positive manifold pressure at 2100 RPM and full in by 26-2800rpm. Honestly though, I would encourage you to research both options...
