With this in my Duster, (a 318 4bbl Police motor with headers, mopar intake, 340 sixpak cam, 650cfm carb, etc,) I get 12-15mpg, or up to 20mpg on really long freeway trips. I just wish my gas gauge worked.

I have a '74 Gold/Space Duster, Rallye Red with black interior, canopy roof, and stripes. My roof was the standard vinyl texture. I think my '74 brochure showed "reptile" skin only available on gold roofs.

Went out and tried it again. As long as I kept the screwdriver on the solenoid, the motor would turn over. I was even able to start the car this way. Napa was the only parts place I wasn't able to get to today before they closed. I'll try them tommorow morning. Thanks for the part numbers...

I went outside and jumped the solenoid. When I did it, the starter motor cranked over for a second. This confirms it's the solenoid, right?

I just put a brand new starter in today. I'm going out to jump the solenoid. hopefully that'll help determine the problem. thanks.

How do you jump the relay? just connect the two terminals that lead to the starter, or jump the ground to a ground point? I've never done this before, thanks for the tips.

I have plenty of battery power, lights radio, everything but the starter works fine. When I turn the key however, there is not even a click from the solenoid. So if it isn't the solenoid, I've got a very frustrating trouble shooting session ahead of me.
