Wow, I never saw the back of that thing, it's bizzare.
I wasn't at the bar, I was at El Burrito Jr. If you haven't gone there, you should, it's really good.
Too bad I missed you, it would have been fun to talk.
What were you up to in Seal Beach?
Things are hard for me right now too, and I'm getting ready to go back to school after being laid off for a while.
So I'm selling all my cars but one.
And those cars are my Jag and Corolla, in other words my daily drivers.
I'm keeping my Duster.
It's reliable, and even though it could be a lot...
Anyone surf for images and end up coming across a car that looks a lot like yours to the point you do a double take when you see it?
Let's share!
Here's a random image I came across:
And here's my car:
I wish mine were as nice as the one on top....
Well, someday.
Nice to see so many other riders on here.
I prefer sportbikes myself, since I like my cars and bikes to be polar opposites of each other.
But in my mind riding is riding, and all riders, be they Harley guys or crotch rocket pilots, have way more in common with each other than someone always...
It's a very easy swap, at least with the front end.
You just need to find a way to secure the front bumper.
Everything else is a direct bolt on.
The remote latch on the Duster will not work with the Demon/Dart hood however.
You will also need to splice in the turn signals and marker lights, as...
I'd keep them together. I have 15x8.5 on the back of my satellite, and have been looking forever for matching fronts.
Right now it has 15x7 on the front.
If I were still in Wisconsin, I would buy them off you.
Well, some would argue that I did the opposite of "saving," since mine is still a daily.

Your Yukon is 5x5. (if it's 5-lug)
No wonder it messed up your stud.
You can run a 5x115 wheel on a 5x114.3 bolt pattern no problem.
The mercedes bolt pattern is 5x112.
Won't work on a 5x114.3 or 5x115.
I work for MHT wheels (Foose, Dub, Jesse James, etc.) as a wheel designer.
There really...
Next year you should have all the fun stuff (track day, cruises) on the weekend, and the show on thursday and friday. ;)
I'd much rather drive around scenic areas, or drive at willow than feel like a girl mistaken for a prostitute. And by that I mean everytime I was near my duster, having...
With this in my Duster, (a 318 4bbl Police motor with headers, mopar intake, 340 sixpak cam, 650cfm carb, etc,) I get 12-15mpg, or up to 20mpg on really long freeway trips.
I just wish my gas gauge worked.
I have a '74 Gold/Space Duster, Rallye Red with black interior, canopy roof, and stripes.
My roof was the standard vinyl texture.
I think my '74 brochure showed "reptile" skin only available on gold roofs.
I found one at Autozone for only $8.
Put it in, worked great.
Took my car out for a drive, and threw an alternator belt.
It seems my Duster is feeling self conscious about going to spring fling and is making up excuses not to go, one mechanical failure after the other.
In the past week, I've...
Went out and tried it again.
As long as I kept the screwdriver on the solenoid, the motor would turn over.
I was even able to start the car this way.
Napa was the only parts place I wasn't able to get to today before they closed.
I'll try them tommorow morning.
Thanks for the part numbers...
How do you jump the relay?
just connect the two terminals that lead to the starter, or jump the ground to a ground point?
I've never done this before, thanks for the tips.
I have plenty of battery power, lights radio, everything but the starter works fine.
When I turn the key however, there is not even a click from the solenoid.
So if it isn't the solenoid, I've got a very frustrating trouble shooting session ahead of me.
