    color of Turbine car... Question

I once saw a report that the Chrysler Turbine car,s paint color " Turbine Bronze" was never used on production vehicles. And the paint code MM1 used on 1966,67,68 Dodge,Chrysler,Plymouth cars was a close match (but not the same exact color as the real Turbine cars). Is their any truth is...

rethreading thermostat holes from 5/16 to 3/8 ?

Thanks, I just checked a Drill Tap chart, 5/16" is the correct drill size for a 3/8"-NC thread. Did a test with a 5/16 nut, you can tap it to 3/8-NC no problem.

rethreading thermostat holes from 5/16 to 3/8 ?

The 5/16" threads for my thermostat do not feel good/ might strip. Can I enlarge the thread size to 3/8" without creating a problem ? Will they have enought material to tighten correctly ?

    Early-Late Harmonic Balancer question.

thanks, just looked at Summit big dollar Damper..was for the newer timing case/ but said if used on engine with marks on passenger side (the TDC mark would be OFF 90 Degrees) Sounds like a timing tape wouls solve this problem and a stock replacement balancer.

    Early-Late Harmonic Balancer question.

I have a 1963 318 Poly. I think that I have a harmonic balancer issue. The early poly engines have the timing mark on the passenger side of the engine, like the early 273/318/340. And the later LA small blocks have the timing mark on the drivers side. Does anyone know if these timing marks...

Random question.. intake exhaust crossover with headers ?

Random question.. intake exhaust crossover with headers ?

What I'm asking is since I have headers , the heat that would have gone up into the exhaust crossover because of the heat riser...there sould not be as much heat (right), So would blocking off the crossover ports really be of much advantage on a daily driver.

Random question.. intake exhaust crossover with headers ?

Since my 318 has headers, how much heat would be going up into the exhaust crossover system? Since that system was meant to be used with manifolds and a heat riser. I know that most people seem to block the crossover port under the intake, but without a heat riser would the amout of heat be all...
