    Definitely a 340, but i will keep it with the car. My other option is to pull the motor/tranny and put it in my 66 cuda, and put the 273 in the Mirada. But I am not that ambitious...yet.

    It's like an inverse tachometer. The faster the mph, the lower the tachometer (gas gage). I suppose they were mimicking the earlier ralley gage clusters. Whats worse, though, is that it originally had an 85 mph speedo! Oh the humanity!

    Yes, it leaves a lot to be desired. But, the flush glass treatment on the back window REALLY accentuates the car's curves! But the "West Coast" logos are in poor taste, IMHO, and the car has more going against it than for it.
