    Back in an A-body again!

I been out of the A-body game for 2-3 years after selling my yellow '71 Scamp. Honestly wasn't looking for another, as I had been searching for a nice D100 lately. I had a deal fall through on a nice '65 sweptline and found this '72 Scamp in Albuquerque. Engine specs are a little hazy, as the...

Owners of RED cars, trucks, bikes....

I have quite a few red vehicle pics on my phone from cars shows, if you'd like those as well. These are just a few red ones I've owned that had good paint on them. The two Dakota pics are of the same truck, just different lighting.

That is exactly what I needed! Thank you for helping me out!

Anyone on here have access to Alldata?

One of the many disadvantages to not being in the automotive repair industry anymore is that I don't have access to Alldata anymore. I'm needing the 50 way bulkhead connector pinout for a '91 Dakota, and possibly a '92 also, though I have a '93 pinout and was hoping it was the same as '92 It...

GM stick shift record broke by 23 year old.

Yeah, obviously not my car of choice, but I also like to watch Cleetus McFarland and did see that video. I also am a fan of the Boosted Boiz, who are a bunch of boosted honda guys, but I don't hold that against them. Haha

Daylight savings time tomorrow, like it or not.

I'm liking it, cause at my new job I work 4pm to 4am, so we'll have one less hour of work today! They also pay us for a full 12hrs! I wish it would stay that way all year. I hate that it gets dark at 5pm.

    Dakota R/T owners

The Dorman kit will work, you just need to substitute your thin metal pan with the thicker aluminum one that's available these days. Since you already have a kit with gaskets, just buy the aluminum plenum plate from the EBay link I sent. If that link shows to now be sold out, he will usually...

DODGE ALUMINUM PLENUM GASKET REPAIR PLATE 1992-2003 5.2L,5.9L | eBay If you're changing the plenum gasket, get rid of the metal plenum plate and buy the aluminum ones from either Hughes or this guy on EBay. I have bought 4-5 from him already for every magnum I've done this repair on. Reusing...

Saved a 1990 Dodge Daytona Shelby VNT

Wow, see some TD.com guys are around here also(and/or Turbomopar.com). Good save Valiantk360, any of the VNT cars are rare, maybe one day there will be an increase in there values. I do like how "responsive" the VNT turbo cars are, I had an '89 Shelby CSX for a few years. My work car is one of...

340 **MAGNUMIZED** efi...with magnum stock injection

If I was running any non-magnum small block and wanted efi, I would look into one of the aftermarket efi kits, like FI-tech. Or just run a 5.2 or 5.9 magnum.

    Any members from Amarillo, TX

Yeah, that does seem to be a problem these days with a lot of car clubs/groups. I know when the group was originally the Amarillo Area Mopars and they had their own forum, there were definitely more older people on there. I'm guessing a lot of them(including myself) don't do the Facebook thing...

    Any members from Amarillo, TX

There used to be a Mopar club website in Amarillo, but was taken down about 3 years ago. A bunch of the members started their own club on Facebook called "Mopar Shakers of the Plains". If you're on Facebook, you may try and join their group and ask about this old Dealership. They're actually...

Another, just cool, Mopar for sale

When I got mine I had to stop at a Walmart in Odessa, TX to get more straps. I had two people stop and look at it and both mentioned the "Mexican Jumping Bean". I figured it was another A100 wheelstander, but when I seached that name, it ended up being one of these Corvair trucks as a...

Another, just cool, Mopar for sale

Funny, I just got one of these myself last week. Have wanted one for years, and finally found one that was close, affordable, and not a rust bucket. Unfortunately for me, it has been tubbed and bagged. But these are so hard to find so, "beggars can't be choosers". Haha

    working a trade

No problems really with the 5.2(318) and 5.9(360) magnum engines. The two "issues" with them are, the intake plenum gasket fails and causes oil consumption and heads cracking enough to cause coolant consumption. They make a better plenum plate out of aluminum that takes care of the gasket...

How many Mopars do you own?

I have definitely downsized as I have gotten older, I have 6 at this time, and 5 actually run and drive! Haha '00 Dakota 5.9 R/T-Daily driver with 237k miles! '99 Dakota 5.9 R/T-Procharger equipped with 56k miles(just sits in the garage mostly) '71 Plymouth Scamp-5.9 magnum EFI swapped(just...

    The nova game

Tried to find a pic from the same angle. This came up under a "1966 Ford Falcon" google search. Obviously, someone has done a little customizing to the front fender of the car in the first pic. I'm a '64-'65 Falcon fan myself, but got stuck with a '69 4 door Falcon as my first car.

How many of you have had Fox Body mustangs?

But back to the original thread. I do like the '87-'93 LX 5.0 manual cars. I had a '79 5.0/auto I paid $250 for probably 15 years ago. Drove it for a few months then traded it to a local wrecking yard for a low mile 440/727 out of a church van. Best trade ever! Haha

Yeah, you definitely don't know squat about Daytonas, as Pentastarnut's car is a Chrysler Conquest/Mitsubishi Starion. Haha

Anyone see the Roadkill guys at the Nats?

I know when they left the car, they were looking for seat belts. As we were leaving for the day and walking down the road beside the swap meet rows, we passed them. We all wondered how many people actually knew who they were, as they walked by and nobody was stopping them for pics.

Anyone see the Roadkill guys at the Nats?

If anybody here watches the show, the next episode to air on YouTube will have this Challenger in it. Obviously it'll be a little while before the Nats episode shows up, but I'm guessing they got the car before the idea of bringing it to the Nats came about.

Anyone see the Roadkill guys at the Nats?

My friends and I love the Roadkill show and we had talked about how, since Dodge sponsers them, they should do an episode where they get an old Mopar and bring it to the Nats. We're walking around Saturday in the manufacturers midway and see some ratty old black Challenger, that looks like it...
